Scope

This notice applies to duct check pages published under this domain. Duct Check Dubai is a comparison site for AC duct and coil cleaning providers. It is informational: no bookings are taken here, no account is created, and no payment is ever processed on these pages.

What is collected

Technical data arrives whether or not anyone wants it to. Your IP address, browser, device type, operating system, referring page and the pages you view are recorded by the server and by our analytics. That data tells us that a hundred people read the pricing table and eleven of them scrolled to the FAQ. It does not tell us who any of them are.

Voluntary data is limited to anything you choose to email us. Readers occasionally send photographs of their own ducts or invoices from a provider. We keep those only while they are relevant, we do not publish them without written permission, and we strip identifying detail if we quote from them.

Cookies

Three types are present. Functional cookies are required for the page to display correctly. Analytics cookies record anonymous usage. Affiliate cookies attribute a referral when a reader clicks through to a provider and books within the network's attribution window.

Every browser allows you to reject the non-essential ones, and every page here works normally if you do. There is no cookie wall on this site and there never will be.

Following an outbound link takes you to a third-party site whose data practices are their own. Read their policy before handing over a phone number or an address.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR or an equivalent regime applies, we rely on legitimate interest for security logging and aggregate analytics, and on consent for non-essential cookies. Correspondence is processed to answer the question you asked, which is also a legitimate interest.

Storage duration

Raw server logs are discarded within ninety days. Aggregated statistics are held for up to two years. Emails are kept for up to twenty-four months. Affiliate cookies expire on the network's own timetable, usually thirty to ninety days.

Your options

You may ask for a copy of anything we hold, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent for cookies at any time through your browser, or object to processing. Contact us at the address published on the site. We reply within thirty days at the outside.

Children

Air conditioning maintenance is not a topic aimed at children. This site is written for adults responsible for a property, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, administrative access is limited and protected, and the platform is kept current. We hold almost nothing worth stealing, which is the most effective security measure available to a site like this one.
